Star Legend offers both formal and casual dining options for its guests. 
Amphora restaurant offers gourmet, course-by-course cuisine in the evening, featuring an array of fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from ports along the journey;  menu is crafted to highlight the spectacular flavors of the regional cuisine. You'll find all your traditional grilled and barbecued favorites (and discover new dishes from around the globe) at Star Grill by Steven Raichlen — acasual outdoor restaurant brought to you in partnership with the man who reinvented barbecue. For breakfast and lunch, "Veranda" offers breakfast alfresco, full-service or buffet-style. And Candles offers an opportunity to dine on the top deck accompanied by views and sounds of the sea for a dining experience unlike any other.

New public areas, including two new dining venues, a new spa, elevated pool, and fitness area. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool to cool off during those hot days aboard Star Legend... or, alternatively, relax in the connecting whirlpool/hot tub. For those seeking a bit more adventure, a watersports platform is fitted with a variety of aquatic equipment, ready to explore.

Yacht Club Cafe and Library
In a quiet niche on deck 8 you'll find a hidden gem – the Yacht Club Café and Library. It's a fabulous place to have a quiet conversation, relax or unwind, offering assorted coffee drinks, teas, and other drinks, plus small bites for breakfast or lunch – and the views are spectacular.

New days bring new experiences... Your oceanview stateroom include a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom with pampering premier toiletries. Breakfast tempts in the casual Veranda restaurant. After breakfast, you may venture off the ship for a morning of guided sightseeing ashore, or enjoy time onboard ship – because this elegant sailing ship feels very much like a private yacht. Lunch as you choose… onboard in the Veranda, or perhaps staying ashore to sample the local fare in the day's port of call. Beverages, from soft drinks to house wine and spirits, complement your mood and are available onboard throughout the day. Afternoon invites more exploration ashore… or relaxation onboard, whether it's cuddling up with a good book in the library… taking a dip in the ship's pool or relaxing in the hot tub… sipping a cocktail in the lounge… attending an insightful lecture by an onboard expert… enjoying a rejuvenating treatment in World Spa by Windstar… or going snorkeling in the ocean from the watersports platform aft. History

Tauck has invested in more than 80 national parks, monuments and destinations the world over to better protect our planet – and preserve natural, historical and cultural destinations for generations to come. Destination grants include Mesa Verde, Grand Teton National Park Foundation, Civil War Trust, National Civil Rights Museum, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Jasper National Park, and Friends of Notre Dame Cathedral (Paris), Grand Pré National Historic Site (Nova Scotia), and Wilderness Safari Camps (Africa).  
 
Going hand-in-hand with destination grants is our commitment to encourage and actively participate in volunteerism. Our commitment to destination preservation can be traced back to Arthur Tauck Jr's quiet donation to preserve the bell tower of the old North Church in Boston – a landmark visited by Tauck's very first guests in 1925 and countless thousands hence.   
 
These efforts include Tauck's on-tour national park guest volunteer program that won a "Preserve America" presidential award. Additionally, hundreds of Tauck employees have participated in annual volunteer days in places like Valley Forge, Harper's Ferry, The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Ellis island, Gettysburg National Military Park and more.
